Jonathan Olinger is the Founder of HUMAN, a NY based media company which creates stories and experiences to transform the way the audience sees themselves and others around them. Through a storytelling agency which works with leading global brands, nonprofits and startups and the forthcoming launch of the storytelling platform, the HUMAN print publication and the HUMAN Film Forum, HUMAN is advancing humanity through story. Having since traveled to over 50 nations including Burma, DR Congo, Iraq and Haiti to listen to people tell their stories, Jonathan has a global perspective of humanity. Jonathan is a child rights advocate, social entrepreneur and filmmaker and strives to invite others to create solutions that protect children and bring equity to humanity. Having architected the media and messaging for major music events such as Dispatch: Zimbabwe (which raised over a million dollars for Zimbabwe through three sold-out shows in Madison Square Garden) and the last two Global Citizen Festivals (which each saw 60,000 people gather in Central Park to build momentum around ending extreme poverty), Jonathan is a leader at the cross-roads of music, entertainment and social engagement. He is sought after as a storytelling consultant for projects ranging from documentaries, feature films, company narratives and social justice campaigns. He has also guided private clients and family offices and their advisors from Russia and CIS, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the Americas on philanthropic ventures and cause engagement.
